JSC NOTICE OF DEATH

It is with deep sadness that ,The Judicial Service Commission announces the passing on and burials of two selfless cadres, MS. Sharon. Rosemani, who was the Resident Magistrate for Plumtree and Ms Precious Mudau who was an Office Orderly at the Beitbridge Magistrates Court.
Resident Magistrate for Plumtree, Ms Sharon Rosemani passed away on the morning of Tuesday 23 June 2020 at a hospital in Bulawayo following a long illness.
She was 38.
Born Sharon Rosemani on the 21st of July 1981, Rosemani joined the then Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Magistracy Department as a Magistrate on the 23rd of March 2009.
She was deployed at Bulawayo Magistrates’ Court until the 1st of September 2010.
After showing some good leadership qualities despite being a junior magistrate,
upon her swearing in, Ms. Rosemani was deployed to Victoria Falls Magistrates Court on the 1st of September 2010.
Observing her due diligence and work ethics, the Judicial Service Commission, on the 28th of January 2013, approved her deployment to Hwange Magistrates Court as Resident Magistrate.
She assumed duty as Resident Magistrate for Hwange Magistrates Court on the 11th of February 2013.
Rosemani was later transferred to Victoria Falls Magistrates Court on the 8th of August 2013 in the same capacity of Resident Magistrate. She manned the station until the 9th of October 2015 when she was transferred to Hwange Magistrates’ Court on the 1st of December 2015 as Resident Magistrate.
She was also assigned other relief duties to stations like the Lupane Magistrates Court.
On the 8th of August 2017, Rosemani was transferred from Hwange to Bulawayo Magistrates’ Court where she assumed duty on the 2nd of October 2017.
On the 23rd of July 2018, she was transferred to Plumtree Magistrates Court as Resident Magistrate until her untimely death on 23rd of June 2020.
Rosemani was buried at Zororo Memorial Park in Harare, on Saturday the 27th of June.
Speaking at the burial service, Judicial Service Commission Acting Secretary, Mr Walter Chikwana conveyed sincere condolences on behalf of the Commission, describing the late Rosemani as a valuable and respected member of the JSC who conducted her duties diligently without fear or favour.
Mr Chikwana urged JSC members who were present at the burial, to emulate Rosemani’s work ethic adding that the Commission has suffered a great loss.
MS. Precious Mdau, an Office Orderly at Beitbridge passed away on Tuesday 23 June 2020 following a short illness whilst admitted in hospital in Bulawayo.
She was 29.
Born on the 26th of August 1990 in Bulawayo, Ms Mudau joined the Judicial Service Commission on the 5th of October 2009 as an office orderly stationed at Beitbridge Magistrates Court, a position she held until her untimely death on the evening of 23 June 2020.
Mudau was buried on Saturday the 27th of June at Shashe Village in the Maromani District of Beitbridge.
As we mourn these selfless cadres who gave their all for the administration of justice, we take solace in that death is Gods way. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the families of both members during this time of bereavement.
MS. Precious Mdau, an Office Orderly at Beitbridge passed away this Tuesday evening, the 23rd of June 2020. She succumbed to a short illness whilst admitted in hospital in Bulawayo.
She was 29.
